Wood and Resin Egg

This dragon egg was handcrafted using locally sourced elm burr and resin. Pigments were mixed together and painted onto the burr to give this colour shifting effect.
The egg was cast in resin, sanded up to 5000 grit and then polished using a 3 stage polishing cycle ensuring a superb finish. A flat was put on the bottom of the eggs to prevent them rolling about the house!
